Maayavan (Tamil): This one is a sci fi thriller from the makers of Pizza. It takes time to get going and once it does then it keeps you edge of the seat. It is well made who is the killer thriller featuring Sundeep Krishnan in a role of the cop and debutant director CV Kumar. The cop stumbles into a crime scene, has a fight with the killer. The killer dies and the cop survives with a mental trauma which he refutes to accept. Even though the beautiful psychologist Adhirai played by Lavanya Tripathi is behind him to prove him wrong. However, things come back when a similar crime if committed by a killer who is now dead! The similarities are too much to ignore, but how can he catch a killer who is already dead?! The suspense is a major plus point of this thriller. Also the theory on which this movie is based is rather shocking. Do sit through the end credits to know it! My rating is 3.5/5.
