This was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know Kate Winslet had narrated these three audio book stories which were written by Enid Blyton. Kate’s narration was amazing and mesmerizing to listen to. I think Kate did a beautiful job with this series of stories. I was lost in that fairy world while listening to the story.

In the middle of the Enchanted Wood you can hear the trees whispering “Wisha-Wisha” and amongst the thick forest is the most enchanted tree in the world – the magic Faraway Tree. Here, fairy folk live on every branch. Meet Moon-Face, Silky the Fairy, and Saucepan Man, and visit the different lands at the top of the Faraway Tree – including the Land of Spells, the crazy Land of Topsy-Turvy, and the Land of Do-As-You-Please where the children ride in a runaway train! Enid Blyton has created a magical journey for children with The Magic Faraway Tree. I haven’t read much of Enid Blyton’s books during my childhood days.

As an adult if I could enjoy listening to this audio book series so much. Then I am sure that kids would love it too. Just get this audio book series and listen to it to get lost in the magical world of Enid Blyton as the stories are not only wonderfully written, but amazingly narrated by Kate Winslet, the multi talented actress.
My rating is 4.5/5. Highly recommended!
